    Very nice! I recognize the blue jay, puffin, and barn (?) owl. I’m not familiar with the two birds on the left. What are they?

      The pointy guy is a red-whiskered bulbul and the little one is a crested tit.

      I’ve mostly been raiding birding@lemmy.world for references. There are a lot of skilled photographers on there!

        I remember permanently borrowing my grandfather’s copy of Reader’s Digest Birds of North America guide and trying to draw them from there (this was the late 1990s).

        And now I have a new community to sub to! :)
