If I’m writing a post or a comment and open Duckduckgo browser before sending, all input fields are reset and contents erased.
It’s really annoying if you need to copy a link address or check something.
Strange I just tried reproducing this but i was unable to do so. Does it only happen in Jerboa? Maybe a powersaving feature of your device is causing it. I think I might have idea to fix this. You will have to make an issue on github with your specific device and anything relevant. And then I can send you some test builds to see which resolves it.
Powersaving feature seems quite plausible, since ‘reset event trigger’ feels incosistent. Most of the times you need to open duckduckgo, input something on the search field and click, but not always. Feels like there’s also a time component.
I haven’t rebooted my phone for 28 days, so I’m starting that.
Let’s call this a false alarm for now.
