After many moons and many houseplants. I’ve managed to keep one alive long enough to get a baby snek.
Just need to watch how I water it.
Awesome! Mine just bloomed for the first time after almost 10 years.
I’ve been propagating these things for years, and I had no idea they could bloom. That’s wild. Congrats!
Me either! It was a complete surprise.
Oh, congratulations!
Thanking you
Love new pups! Congrats!
Hopefully I can propagate a bit. Not sure
I think you can, the plant looks very happy with whatever you’re doing. Imo they like to get a little rooty so don’t repot it for a bit. You can split the rhizomes easily with a knife and prop it when the time is right.
That’s what I was hoping for. I won’t be splitting until it’s a lot bigger. I think just leaving it alone. It gets very little attention and it’s happy with that
I’m just going to bet your path to victory was completely forgetting you had a snake plant for five years.
Pretty much. Left it months without watering because it was behind the curtain. Now I’m scared to water.
It looks like the plant succeeded in spite of your efforts
Others haven’t been so lucky. That’s a snek a split up. Had 3 to start with. Just overwatered
It’s a cute lil snek
It was. Fil drowned it. Not sure if it will survive. Almost almost
Fingers and toes crossed 🤞
It’s a Snake plant the real trick would be, that not happening.
I’ve had a few but I tend to over water. My curse, or theirs
