Wait for a discount. A few months ago I got both Portal and Portal 2 for $2.
Summer sale is still going on, both Portal games are $1. “Valve Complete Pack” is $6.54.
edit: oops the $2.25 was for me because I own most of it.

Ok so I got Portal 2. Should I buy Half Life 2 or Portal 1. I know they are totally different games but I like both genres. Thanks in advanced.
Personally I’d go with half life 2. Portal 1 is a great game but it’s kind of a simplified shorter version of 2. Half life is a completely different experience so I’d go with that
