In the comments we will vote on a theme for this coming week for the competition. The comment with a theme that has the most upvotes by the end of the vote in ~48 hours will become the theme for the weekly challenge.
Try not to post any themes that have already been mentioned in the comments so that votes can focus on a single comment. The theme has to follow the rules of this community and sh.itjust.works in general, and cannot be a theme that has already been done.
My vote is for “Dieselpunk” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dieselpunk
Not heard of dieselpunk before but this is a great idea.
60’s science fiction (fake looking robots, cheesy space suits, you name it )
Oh I like this idea. Things like Barbarella, original Star Trek, Lost in Space (I think).
Nautical theme would be cool
abandoned places
Seapunk!
That one https://www.theguardian.com/music/2012/dec/14/seapunk-has-now-gone-pop which disappeared as soon it was named?
I actually had no idea it existed until now. Searching for a theme, I stumbled upon this: https://aesthetics.fandom.com/wiki/Seapunk
- visual art genre that utilize imagery from the 2000’s Cyberpunk culture, including dolphins, pyramids, bright colors, beach scenes, and dreamscapes
Could you use rentry.co or something to track what’s already been done?
Knight but with a twist
DieselPunk looks cool! Do it!
At the opera
With phantom.
That should be part of the interpretation ;-) Tbh, I don’t really like that a lot of the suggestions here want a specific visual style, that radically reduces the artistic freedom, which I wanted to maximize with my suggestion.
Lemmys official mascot?
could be cool to see what ai comes up with (though I seem to have to put ‘Lemming Rodent’ or I just get pics of Lemmy from Motorhead)
I’d love to see a beginner series. Or weekly/monthly posts on what how stable diffusion works, settings mean, prompts etc
I’m a bit late to the party but I think a liminal space theme would be cool.
