I was thinking it was a Russian Olive. It looks like their leaves and flowers are fairly close, but the plants are very different lol. Wonder which it is.
on closer inspection, I think you are right. sea buckthorn flowers look completely different.
I can post more photos of that specific tree later this week
We saw some on the lake today and I would have had no idea what they were if not for this post.
