I guess if someone gets to angry with the roll they might just eat the dice, but that’s a problem for another time lol

Just fyi some folk on bgg designed origami dice, mainly for playtesting games with weird die faces. Maybe it’s interesting to you to compare approaches.

As you said, most of us probably have a fair number of dice, especially those of us who also do RPGs. Still, my main feedback is that would it still print well on A4?

I remember seeing an article or a video about people in prison using two disposable cups because they weren’t allowed dice. You write numbers on the outside near the rim of one cup when holding it upside down, and mark or cut the other in a way that identifies the number when nested on top of the numbered cup. You then spin the upper/outer cup to “roll”
